Hi I had my pip assessment by phone on the 4th of may . Received a message on the 9th of may we have received your medical report so rang on the day to ask if the report can be sent out . I then rang today the 12 of may and was told the report was sent out by post on the 11th now Iv just missed a call around 4.30 today from a pip number 08001214433 . Does this mean my claim has not been awarded I’m worried now .

Hi @mand2269
I had had my assessment the same day as you.
they might have called you to see if awarded if you can manage the whole backdated payment, or could be a general question they might want to reask you.
when did you apply for pip I applied back in 6th February
good luck!0 -
Hi concon07 I think it was a couple of months ago when I 1st applied. Also s applied last August but declined so tribunals on 25th may this year cos i didn’t have much input & evidence at the time .0

Are you aware that any decision made on this new claim will overrule any decision made by the Tribunal? This means if you're refused by DWP again the whole process starts again. It's not always a good idea to start a new claim while waiting for a Tribunal hearing.

I wanted to cancel the tribunal but was advised to still go ahead as I have plenty of evidence now so just left it .0

just just a heads up I received a text message this morning to say I’d been awarded. Finally the pressure is off .4

Great news.
That's a shame you did that. Any decision made by the Tribunal wouldn't have affected your new award. If you were awarded by them you would have received backdated money up until the day before you started your new claim.mand2269 said:
