If I get found to have LCWRA will my sanction be lifted

I haven't actually been sanctioned yet but I know I will be in a couple of days as I am refusing to attend weekly appointments due to my condition. My question is, if I get sanctioned and am later awarded LCWRA, will my sanctioned be lifted and my payments be backdated to include the dates that I was sanctioned for, or will that money be lost? Thanks.

The sanction will be lifted and they will pay anything they owe you. Have you asked for telephone appointments as a reasonable adjustment? Explain to your work coach about your health condition and why you're finding it difficult to attend appointments in person.

@duelpro2 even with lwrca you still have to attend appointments it’s a welfare appointment that’s all lwrca uc appointment are for they are usually over the phone as I’ve just been awarded lwrca as of today if you were sanctioned before getting awarded lwrca you might not get the sanction lifted0

When found to have LCWRA you do not need to attend any appointment, this is referring to work related activity. The sanction should not apply from the assessment period in which the changes were reported.0
