Carer and pip

Hi im a fulltime carer for my son who has severe cerebral palsly, i now have osteoarthritis in my back, neck,legs and feet and hands, bulging discs and nerve damage to lower back, i recently applied for pip and scored zero points, the person was only asking about my son and his needs and how i cared for him and hardly asked about my health, now been told i dont need pip as i can drive his car and care for him, do i do an mr and apeal thankyou

There's many people that claim PIP and be carer at the same time. However, if your caring duties contradict the reasons why you're claiming PIP then it can go against you. I'm not saying you're not entitled to PIP because i don't know exactly how your conditions affect you and this is what they look at when claiming PIP.It's entirely your decision whether you request the MR and Tribunal if needed.
