Blood pressure trial

I have been taking part in a "Blood pressure monitoring trial" with my GP surgery for the last 5 months - it is basically run by "Omron" and you simply take your blood pressure at home for a week at time with a month between reading periods - these readings are put down on a website....
This has been going well - my blood pressure has dropped considerably over the trial period - I can see on a chart how it has changed
My meds have been changed dependant on the change in blood pressure.
However - Omron have decided to change how this is done - and have created a new app - which now requires Android 10 to run - my tablet is only Android 9 - so I will be unable to continue the trial !!
I just hope that there is something in place to replace this method of checking blood pressure and updating drugs
I have no idea what Omron thought they are doing - because many patients will be in the same position (Too low Android version to run the app)

Unfortunately as apps develop so does the need for higher running platforms.

You would have thought they would have consulted those on the trial though  :*

Well done on getting your BP down.  Can be a real battle for some.  I'd love to come off one of my triple combo's

    Good luck moving on

    I have heard from Omron

    "Thank you for your e-mail.
These are the technical requirements regarding the VISO application.
    We apologize again for inconvenience."

Useless - I will not buy any more Omron products
