Hi everyone, I have just been accepted Lcwra and I first handed my sick note in on the 6th Jan. My assesment period is 3rd to the 2nd with pay day on the 9th am I due back pay? If not will my first lcwra payment be this month

    If that was the same date you reported your health condition then your waiting period will be. 

    Feb to May .. LCWRA starts from assessment period 3rd May to 2nd June and first payment will be 9th June. No LCWRA element is owed. 

    If the decision has only just been made there may not be enough of time to include it in this month’s statement. Therefore they will owe you for this month but you’ll need to check your statement.
