Universal credit, disability element

in Universal Credit (UC)
I have been missing said element since 2018 and It has now gone to a dm on the 1/06/23 to see about being backdated, Im just woundering what sort of timescale other members have experienced with this situation, I thank you for youre time on this matter

    The element should be included in your next statement. It could take a few weeks for a decision on what is owed. 

    Any money owed will be paid as a separate payment. Before they can pay you they will need to recalculate your past statements to work out how much you’ve received against what you should have received. Once this is done you’ll receive a letter on your journal telling you how
    much they owe and it will be paid into your bank. Very often it can take quite a few weeks to do this. 

    Once the statements are recalculated they will replace your existing ones so you may want to take copies now.
