Hello, waiting for autism assessment. Age 49. Any advice on support whilst waiting, how to discuss with work, helpful online or reading resources. Please. Thanks.

Waiting lists are at least a couple of years, possibly longer, that's the only downside.

For your employer, if you need support at work then you can ask for reasonable adjustments. https://www.acas.org.uk/reasonable-adjustments

Thanks Hannah. I'm glad of the opportunity for an assessment however it's how to do the best in the process of waiting for this as know it can take a long time.
