Hello, I'm Philip, question about autochair fitting

I'm getting a new motability car and I need an Autochair fitted. But Ergo mobility charge £2080 all in, which is a lot although I've applied for a grant. I've seen used ones for sale. And my question is does anyone know someone who can fit a used hoist privately?

    Hello, thanks for your question :) I'm afraid I don't know of anyone who can install a used hoist privately @cam81, as you say that is quite a cost! I'm glad to hear you've applied for a grant in the meantime.

    Hopefully some of our members have some first hand experience in this area. I have a Motability car with its own adaptions but these were relatively low cost, and covered by the scheme itself.
