I’m currently caring for my brother but his place is too small.can I get housing from my local council

    I know Shelter has guidance on 'How to apply for council housing' which I hope is helpful. How are finding managing caring for your brother at the moment?

    If you’re a single person then it will be extremely difficult to be housed by social housing. First you need to fill out an application form to get yourself on the waiting list. However, it could be many years before you’re housed.
