Blue light cars for pa

Hi I am current employed as a pa and paid via direct payment my blue light card is up for renew at end of month but as I’ve moved from working as a career in a care home to now caring for my dad as a pa I am struggling to renew my blue light card it keeps declining my id saying pa are not eligible but I’ve read on previous post that they are does anyone know anything about this please

    Having looked to the criteria for those that qualify a PA doesn't according to the list. When you were working in a care home you would have. You can see the list here. https://www.bluelightcard.co.uk/contactblc.php

    What a shame, those discounts can make all the difference. I wonder if it's worth contacting the blue light card organisation directly to question this - maybe even via their social media (Facebook or twitter) to catch their attention?
