Waiting for PIP letter

Hi all, 

After a long wait of almost a year I had my tribunal May 9th and was awarded both components. 

I got a text message on 30th May from DWP to say I’d get my back pay and a letter. The back pay was within 5 working days and the letter within 2 weeks. I got my back pay on day 6 and am still waiting for my letter.

I waited over two weeks before I called and they said the appeals team hadn’t sent out my letter so they would make sure it was done that day. 

I called again today (week later) as I’ve still not got it and been told it still hasn’t been done. I now need to wait a further two weeks for this letter. So in total it will be 5 weeks since they said it would be two weeks. 

Had anyone else been through this? They just don’t seem to want to ‘push the button’ his words not mine on sending out my letter.

    @Graceylacey I'm sorry it has been such a hassle for them to send you out your award letter. I haven't heard of many delays in PIP letters since the Royal Mail Strikes. I hope it comes sooner than the two week timescale given.

    @Graceylacey hi I’ve been to a tribunal before I’m not sure if it’s possible but maybe you can ask them the email you the decision once it’s been made to save you the wait time

    Hi, I asked but they said they couldn’t email it. The Tribunal were far easier to talk to and send things!
