Can I get disability premium?

Hi,
I live with my mother and am her Carer - she’s been receiving pip since last year spring and I applied to be her Carer early this year (as I wasn’t made aware of the possibility of officially applying to be her Carer until then).

I’ve just now found out about disability premium and although I’m aware she isn’t able to receive Severe Disability Premium as she has a Carer, I’m wondering whether she is able to apply for the normal Disability Premium.

The disability premiums are payable with some of the old legacy benefits. The disability premium in question is only paid when claiming either Income Related JSA or Income Support. They are not benefits that are paid separately.
