Just looking for a bit of advice about divticulits just recently been in hospital with diverticulitis then a doctor came around and said it was colitis due to the blockage in my upper bowel are these 2 connected and are there foods I should be avoiding

Have you had any follow up appointments with your GP since being in hospital?
I think it's well worth asking them or asking to be referred to a specialist, as they can help support you on an ongoing basis.
