Just looking for a bit of advice about divticulits just recently been in hospital with diverticulitis then a doctor came around and said it was colitis due to the blockage in my upper bowel are these 2 connected and are there foods I should be avoiding

    Good morning @Paula78 and welcome thanks for reaching out, I've just move your query into our physical conditions category so other members can chat more easily. I hope you've recovered from hospital now, that can't have been pleasant. 

    With this sort of question, we're not qualified to answer, and we cannot give medical advice as Poppy has mentioned.

    Have you had any follow up appointments with your GP since being in hospital? 

    I think it's well worth asking them or asking to be referred to a specialist, as they can help support you on an ongoing basis.
