Do I resign or wait to be dismissed?
Hi everyone, I really hope you can help a newbie!
I've just been awarded lcwra and get pip anyway. But I'm still on sick pay from work. Its ssp but this month is the last month.
Because I've been awarded lcwra can I now resign or am I still best waiting for work to dismiss me? I'm so confused! Help!
Thank you x

You shouldn’t just resign from your job. As you’re still claiming SSP and you have the work allowance, it doesn’t make sense to resign at the moment because a certain amount of earnings received are ignored before any deductions apply,0

Resigning your job will not affect your UC because having LCWRA means you are not required to work and therefore cannot be sanctioned.Even after the SSP ends in the next month there way be reasons for retaining your employment.0
