Hi I am receiving contribution based esa and am in the support group. I have been receiving this since 2021. I was wondering if I will be migrated over to universal credit??

Your ESA will be New style ESA because you claimed after December 2018. This means that you will not be migrated to UC because your ESA isn't part of it.Have you checked entitlement to UC by using a benefits calculator? Your ESA will continue as normal but be deducted in full from any UC entitlement. If you have savings/capital of more than £16,000 you're excluded from claiming. If you live with a partner you need to claim as a couple. Do be aware that if you're claiming Tax credits then this will stop if you submit a claim for UC.0
