It’s not unusual for them not to respond within the timeframe. The hearing will continue as normal if they don’t but they will eventually respond.0

Thanks the judge gave the dwp 28 days to respond that ran out and still no response0

Yes it happens a lot. They will eventually respond.0

Hello @smithy1974
Welcome to the community! I'm sorry to hear it is still a wait for you! How are you apart from that?

I spoke to pip tribunal and they said it’s in the hands of the judge because the DWP has not responded and has run out of time. So does anybody know what happens next does the judge deal with it or does it wait to DWP to respond?0
-
Nothing will happen and the hearing will continue as normal. The Tribunal will extend the time and DWP will eventually respond.

I just spoke to the tribunal service and I am having a compliance hearing first, because they’re not happy with a Dwp is that a good thing?0

Hello @smithy1974
A compliance interview is sometimes needed to confirm details or ask for additional evidence
If they are not happy with the DWP then I would suspect it could be they need more information but I cannot say for definite. I hope it goes well! 0
