I have received a message saying that the DWP have received my assessment report but I didn’t have an assessment. What does this mean? Is it a good sign or a bad one?

That simply means that the assessor already had enough information to prepare their assessment report.1

Hi @EdenPIP - & welcome to the community. This sounds like you have had a paper-based assessment, i.e. using the info you've sent in, claim form, etc. Usually having a paper-based assessment results in a good outcome. It can take anything up to 12 weeks to get your decision letter advising as to the actual outcome.

Hi I had exactly the same text today. I've not had an assessment either. I hope it is a good outcome for us1

My son is moving from dla to pip as he was 16 in February, we got a letter recently saying they are doing a paper assessment. I did send a lot of supporting evidence so I am also hoping for a positive outcome but the long warp it just makes you worry.Congrats on your award it must be a relief0
