I has anybody had there widows pension allowance refused due to your partner not paying enough national insurance? It’s seems unfair as I worked to support us and my partner brought up our kids. I’m just wondering whether anyone has applealed and got the good desision in the same circumstances.

It's now known as Beareavement Support Payment. To qualify for this your partner will need to have paid NI contributions for at least 25 weeks since 1975. Any decision can be appealed but if your partner didn't pay those NI contributions then you won't qualify. You must also yourself be under state pension age. https://www.gov.uk/bereavement-support-payment/eligibility
