Christmas already?

I went through town earlier and a well-known shop that sells craft things (amongst other items) had started displaying Christmas craft bits and bobs.
What are your thoughts? Is it too early? Perfect for crafters? Or something else entirely?

No idea but I think that must be the same well known craft shop that I went to earlier this week and saw the Christmas things. I thought it was just my town but unless you live near me it must be all of them!!0

I'm near London @66Mustang, not sure about you?
I must admit it made me double-take at first! A lot of my extended family are crafters and like to start early but I think even they would agree that July is quite early.1 -
It's too early for me ok buying present early I guess is an option a lot of people have to do especially how things are at the moment but Christmas now seems more commercialsed than it use to be when I was younger.

Surely kids aren't making Christmas craft items during the summer holidays?

Certainly doesn't feel like summer at the moment!OverlyAnxious said:Surely kids aren't making Christmas craft items during the summer holidays?

I always see crafting items start to be available in drips and drabs around now. Usually with more online. I do also see lots of businesses do "Christmas in July" sales to move last years stock!0

I'm currently being blinded by sunshine and roasting at 30c+ indoors so I guess that depends where you live!bg844 said:

Very pleased I'm not on mainland Europe in their heatwave this week!0 -
Manchester! Me too about staying away from Europe I genuinely think I'd die, next trip away for me is Dublin on the 1st August for 2 nights so at least the weather will be like home and I will be happy as I can wear more 'comfortable' clothing. I'll go abroad when these stupid school holiday prices and this stupid heat returns to normal!OverlyAnxious said:I'm currently being blinded by sunshine and roasting at 30c+ indoors so I guess that depends where you live!
