hi ive put my sick note in on the 5th of febuary and ive been awarded lwcra my assessment  period is the 1st to the 2nd my notes have no gaps am i entitled to backpay thanks in advance

    If The 5th Feb was the same date you reported your health condition then your waiting period will be as follows. March to June… LCWRA starts from 2nd June to 1st July and first payment will be 8th July.

     This means they owe you 1 months LCWRA element up until this month. Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes a few weeks to pay it.
