Hi
This is my first post, I have just discovered this site.
I have MS and currently receive enhanced living and standard mobility, I was awarded this in 2017. My MS nurse suggested I reapply as I should be getting enhanced mobility.
Does anyone have any advise? I have been reluctant before as I was worried they would give me less points and reduce the original award.
Does anyone have any advise?
Thank you

A worsening of condition doesn't automatically entitle you to more points for a higher award. As you've already got an award you can't reapply. You will need to report a change of circumstances which will prompt them to send more forms out for you to fill in and return. Most people have assessments so you'll likely need another one. Once the decision is made your award could either stay the same, be reduced, increased or even stopped completely. You need to make sure you fully understand the descriptors before doing anything else.0

Thank you. I am worried they will stop it or change the points nothing has changed on the living part, I just can't walk as far now, Is it just up to the assessor's discretion?0
