    The plan is to reduce the 'Disability-Employment Gap' by removing welfare benefits from sick and disabled people and awarding JSA instead. 
    Major changes to reassessments were introduced in 2016, suspended in 2017 and during lockdown but will now be implemented in any benefit review.

    A Disability Action Plan has been in place every year since 2007

    I think the point about this latest one, or at least why it was brought to my attention, is the increased focus on Assistive Technology (which is actually anything that assists...not just computers or electronic tele stuff!) and the need to ensure that AAC (alternative & augmentative communication) is properly accounted for.
