PIP tribunal won

I had a tribunal on the 7th of July as DWP refused my initial claim when I applied in June 2022. I applied as I’m autistic and have a learning disability. Initially I was only given 2 points, but after the tribunal I was awarded 8 points for daily living and 0 for mobility. I know it’s only the standard rate but it’s at least it’s something. I had a call from DWP yesterday to ask for details and they said the backdated payment should be paid within 5 working days, so hopefully soon I’ll have some money.

    I'm waiting for my tribunal to go ahead as I got declined by dwp I have so many things going on im in pain constantly I can't walk far due to pain I suffer with cronic ibs I have degeneration of the cervical spine ,anxiety so bad I don't leave the house , back and pelvic pain due to endometriosis that can be crippling at times ,I'm so scared I've opted not to be present at the tribunal because the video assessment stressed me out so much I felt like I was a fraud it was horrible and they lied about so many things I couldn't believe it,  I've just been awarded lcwra by dwp that was not so stressful just hope this tribunal hurrys up I just want it over with x

    I would just like to add a warm welcome @sammycgoff. It sounds like a relief that you have now been awarded more points and you will receive the payment soon. How are you currently feeling about everything?  :)

    Thank you for sharing your experience with us too @deedee2312. Do you know when your tribunal might be? It sounds like you have been through a really difficult time. Make sure you emphasis how you are affected on a day-to-day basis by these diagnoses  :p
