Please help me I have a question about my universal credit I submitted New claim and got on my journal this I send photo and I want ask this meaning is my housing cost mine is approved and they will pay ?? or not yet known? And other question. they made me an appointment for document verification hausing cost and bank details my documents have been verified with the cost of housing cost then why don't they cancel this one appointment what they might want ? or they just want me to confirm my account documents ? Or something different has anyone had this situation please answer thanks 0

Difficult to advise about your housing costs because you've blanked out all the information on the screenshot.It's normal to have to attend an appointment at your local job centre when you first claim UC.0

Thanks for your answer but what i removed are just the names of the photos of the documents i sent and nothing more0

I can see "verfied" at the top, which means exactly what it says your documents have been verified. You will need to wait until you receive your statement at the end of your assessment period. This will then tell you all the elements you're entitled to. As you have a liability to pay rent then you should receive the housing element. How much you're entitled to will depend on your circumstances.

hi thanks for your response poppy. I’m going through a similar thing and it’s been quite difficult to not know. I’ve finally had my documents verified but it might not get paid in this months statement. However you’ve made me feel more at ease.
