Hi
how long does it take for a LCWRA reassessment review ?
how long does it take for a LCWRA reassessment review ?
I’m in receipt of LCWRA and have been for the last 3 years due to my mental health
received a message in journal in June confirming I have been referred for a reassessment review.
received questionnaire forms on 11th June sent them back on 10th July as they was due for the 12th July and not heard anything.

Is this normal?
I keep checking my UC journal to see if I have any messages but nothing.
I’m not sure if this means they would have done a paper based assessment ?
My last assessment was 3 years ago and in person

Yes it’s perfectly normal. You could be waiting several months possibly longer.Another assessment is most likely as most people have them. These are mostly by telephone but some are face to face and video call. If one is needed once an appointment becomes available they will send you a letter in the post.0

Okay thank you Poppy for your reassurance, guess I’ll just be patiently waiting for the outcome x0

What I find annoying about it is they tell you to return it by a certain date, send you reminders about the importance of returning it in time then spend months or in some cases over a year actually getting back to you about it!

Would you mind if I asked, did you first get a journal message about contacting your GP, then the notice of review? Or just a notification of review out of the blue?
Some of the members here had the GP message then notice of a review, but back in May I had the GP message, then nothing.0 -

A referral means the Health Assessment Advisory Service will be contacted and they will send you the UC50 form within days. You will know if this is being done because they will upload a letter onto your journal. As you haven't received that then no referral has been made.
