Pip review

Good afternoon. Due to the backlog my pip review has been ongoing since Oct 2022. DWP sent me an ongoing certificate of entitlement with no end date. The Post Office refuse to accept this for applying for vehicle tax exemption. I rang the DVLA and they said this is because I am currently technically not entitled whilst under review but that they may backdate it once I get a new award. I am currently reveiving 12points enhanced mobility.
Could anyone please tell me what the date of any new entitlement would be from (assuming I stay the same) they received my forms 17/10/22. Would it be from this date or date of telephone assessment or decision? The ongoing certificate posed no problem when renewing my blue badge. Thankyou in anticipation of a response.

Usually for reviews if they are started by DWP and you're awarded a higher rate then it's from the date the decision was made. However because of the backlogs sometimes they are awarding from an earlier time so there maybe some money owed, if it's a higher award. If the award stays the same then it will very likely be from the date of the decision.I would ring PIP again and ask them to send you another certificate of entitlement which includes an end date.0
