Sorry if it's sounds like that but I'm not. That's what I've experienced . The fact I could is why I failed and I was bad even 2 year ago when it happened. Even the fact I was trying to help myself went against me lol0

For PIP if you cant complete an activity safely, to an acceptable standard, repeatedly and in a reasonable timescale then you’re classed as not being able to complete it at all. What matters is at least 50% of the time over a 12 month period.
There’s so many people that can do those activities but not to the standard required. I’ve claimed PIP for 10 years and one of my conditions is also fibromyalgia. I can do all those activities you mentioned but can’t complete them to the standard required. This makes me entitled to PIP and I claim standard daily living and Enhanced mobility.Same for my daughter who doesn’t have any physical conditions and can do all the activities but not without support/ assistance and she claims Enhanced for both parts.2 -
Hi, because my depression was really bad when I filled forms in, probably should have got some help, I don’t think it was detailed enough. And although I appreciate some of the advice I have been given, some of the negativity is adding to my stress.0

And although I appreciate some of the advice I have been given, some of the negativity is adding to my stress.Dont let negative comments on the forum put you off or make you feel negative. There are many negative stories about people who have started to cliam PIP and have been refused or have had to go to appeal. You never hear about the successful stories because they have had no need to ask for help because they were successful. Many many many people who have been turned down at the first stage have gone on to get awards at MR stage (small percentage of success at MR Stage 27%) but have had more success at tribunal or appeal stage (about 70% success rate)So what you need to do not is to put all of your focus and effort into writting that detailed MR Letter using all of the information and advice given on the thread. You have 1 month to apply for MR but with a good reason (like you were unwell with your mental health or you were seeking further advise) you have got a total of 13 months to write a MR letter and apply. If they refuse your MR because of being late then you go straight to appeal and your MR letter will be used as evidence by the tribunal in an appeal and could make a big difference. So take a little rest and take a time out to gather your thoughts ready to write that detailed MR LetterYou have nothing to lose and only to gainNasturtium2
