I've already used most help available but can pip help0

I think a lot of people are struggling with the cost of living at the moment. If you have no food then a food bank can help with that. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/debt-and-money/using-a-food-bank/martypitts said:I've already used most help available but can pip help
I don't know what you mean exactly by that. Are you claiming PIP at the moment? Or are you asking if it's possible to claim it?

Yes I already claim pip but can they help financially0

Other than the payments you are currently receiving, they do not offer grants. Other services relevant to you who do offer grants may ask to see a copy of your benefits award notices however.martypitts said:Yes I already claim pip but can they help financially0 -
Are the pip renewal forms sent back on time and also it's been over a year will it be backdated0
-
According to Turn2us @martypitts PIP is backdated to when you first made a PIP claim. Hopefully, this helps. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions though

That’s not quite correct in this case because martypitts PIP is a review.L_Volunteer said:According to Turn2us @martypitts PIP is backdated to when you first made a PIP claim.
For reviews that are started by DWP they don’t usually backdate the claim to an earlier date if you have a higher award.martypitts said:Are the pip renewal forms sent back on time and also it's been over a year will it be backdatedHowever because a lot of reviews are taking a considerable length of time sometimes they backdate it to an earlier date. Though, this doesn’t always happen.0 -
Hello @martypitts
I'm so sorry to hear you are finding it hard to buy food. Struggling to get the food you need must be really tough. We have a page on accessing free food and food banks, which you might find helpful to read. This includes some information on getting free or cheap food without a referral, as well as a with a referral.Have you spoken to your GP or local authority about the problems you've been having getting enough food?
