Assessment shortly

Hi Everyone I feel very nervous as i have a pip assessment soon.
  Over the phone and i have asked for it to be recorded. 
 I have copied my pip application and am reading through, but tend to get brain fog especially in times of stress.
  My main worry is that i work part time {with lots of work place adjustments and permanently from home}, I have a small dog and I drive (although not far and not often and mostly not alone). Also live alone which apparently counts against you too.

 From all I have read any one of these things is a big red flag, as these are used to show you are capable of moving around, planning a journey not forgetting your medication and needing prompts, not being exhausted more often than not? 
Please can you give your experiences on this? Thank you

    People do work and claim PIP but if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you're claiming PIP then it can go against you. Driving is the same and it can go against you for some descriptors, though a lot of people do drive and claim PIP without any issues. It's never gone against me and i've been claiming PIP for 10 years.

    Living alone should not go against you for any descriptors. PIP is about the help you need, regardless of whether you receive that help or not.

    During the assessment try not to answer the questions with just a yes or no. Doing this can lead to the HCP making their own conclusions. You should try to give as much detail as possible. It can last anywhere from 20 to 120 minutes, sometimes longer.

    Once the report is returned a decision can take up to about 12 weeks.

    Thank you Poppy123456. I notice reading the forum that some say  Capita will not record a telephone assessment.  When i got my assessment invite Thursday, I emailed to ask if they would record my assessment which is soon, but got no answer to date. So I rang yesterday and I was told they would record the assessment and then send me an email with a password and link so I had access to listen afterwards.  Not sure whether i was being fobbed off?

    It sounds like this might be because it appeared you requested a recording. Am I hearing this right @luuluu11?  :)

    Part time work did not go against me only because I discussed the work place adjustments added to my role, was never asked but gave the information
