Doing an Appeal on Tribunal does stops PIP payment????

To be honest judging by the descriptors and what you provided on the last part, regarding mobility it is unlikely you will be awarded it - however, that’s the good thing with the tribunals and MR as you can explain in more detail there than you can here. But standard mobility is in two parts essentially (physical walking/mental health), and you need 10 points to be awarded standard. It is difficult to get it awarded on walking mobility alone as the criteria is high, and then for the mental health side it relies on you needing someone with you and avoiding leaving your house because of travel in which you being able to book and take a taxi they MIGHT see as travelling does not cause you extreme distress (that is not to say it doesn’t) However, I was awarded 0 points in mobility despite having PTSD from getting hit by a car and went to tribunal where I got the 10 needed for standard. Take your time to explain the full scope of the anxiety you experience when travelling, the tribunal for me was great - I was honest with the judge and said if I truly need to get somewhere despite experiencing anxiety I can ask for help, but it doesn’t mean I’m not spending an hour building myself up or crying before doing so. They can be very understanding with stuff like this so try not to lose hope but be aware they may feel that some of the evidence you have provided may go against you - just by going on what you have included there.
