Thank you @poppy123456 , just preparing my mind as I'm not expecting to much from the MR to be changed so thinking what should I do next , felling so anxious.0

I can really hear how you are feeling anxious at the moment @Sweet_Strawberry, particularly with predicting the outcome and thinking about what you should do next. Is there anything that might help you to feel less anxious at the moment or which usually helps you when you are feeling anxious? Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do to help

@L_Volunteer thank u for taking the time and replying, still waiting for the outcome of MR honesty I'm not happy with the award that I received, from past few years my condition gone worst and worst and struggling more and more day by day , so applied for PIP and get awarded only DL standard rate and no mobility received only 4 points, so I requested for MR I'm not hopping to much to change from the main decision that i received , for MR i have included as supporting documents few letters from my doctor health specialist, school absence letter of my kid due to my illness, sickness, as I can't use public transport mostly I take taxi to attend my appointments or go anywhere unless is very necessary so I have included some booking confirmation texts . So don't know if they will look to all this stuff as I haven't heard yet anything and still waiting eagerly and stressing so much.0

To be honest judging by the descriptors and what you provided on the last part, regarding mobility it is unlikely you will be awarded it - however, that’s the good thing with the tribunals and MR as you can explain in more detail there than you can here. But standard mobility is in two parts essentially (physical walking/mental health), and you need 10 points to be awarded standard. It is difficult to get it awarded on walking mobility alone as the criteria is high, and then for the mental health side it relies on you needing someone with you and avoiding leaving your house because of travel in which you being able to book and take a taxi they MIGHT see as travelling does not cause you extreme distress (that is not to say it doesn’t) However, I was awarded 0 points in mobility despite having PTSD from getting hit by a car and went to tribunal where I got the 10 needed for standard. Take your time to explain the full scope of the anxiety you experience when travelling, the tribunal for me was great - I was honest with the judge and said if I truly need to get somewhere despite experiencing anxiety I can ask for help, but it doesn’t mean I’m not spending an hour building myself up or crying before doing so. They can be very understanding with stuff like this so try not to lose hope but be aware they may feel that some of the evidence you have provided may go against you - just by going on what you have included there.Sweet_Strawberry said:@L_Volunteer thank u for taking the time and replying, still waiting for the outcome of MR honesty I'm not happy with the award that I received, from past few years my condition gone worst and worst and struggling more and more day by day , so applied for PIP and get awarded only DL standard rate and no mobility received only 4 points, so I requested for MR I'm not hopping to much to change from the main decision that i received , for MR i have included as supporting documents few letters from my doctor health specialist, school absence letter of my kid due to my illness, sickness, as I can't use public transport mostly I take taxi to attend my appointments or go anywhere unless is very necessary so I have included some booking confirmation texts . Morby said:standard mobility is in two parts essentially (physical walking/mental health), and you need 10 points to be awarded standard. That's not correct. Standard mobility isn't in 2 parts. Mobility itself is in 2 parts. Following and planning a journey and moving around. You need to score at least 8 points for a standard award in either and/or both activities, at least 12 points for Enhanced mobility. Same for the daily living part.
That's also not quite correct. For following and planning a journey another person doesn't need to be with you. The descriptors also include an assistance dog or orientation aid. There's also one doesn't include another person, orientation aid or assistance dog. (1C 8 points) You don't need to be experiencing overwhelming psychological distress (OPD) either. Many people score points for following and planning a journey that don't suffer from this.Morby said:then for the mental health side it relies on you needing someone with you and avoiding leaving your house because of travel in which you being able to book and take a taxi they MIGHT see as travelling does not cause you extreme distressBeing able to travel in a taxi doesn't mean a person isn't entitled to enough points here for an award.
