pip review

My pip is up for review and yesterday I received unexpected voicemail ( I struggle to talk on the phone do i don't answer) the person was from captita and they said they were doing my report for my paper based report and need to ask for some information and that it wouldnt take long. they stated they would call back st a particular time, but they never.
so this morning due to my bad anxiety my carer rang to see get it over with but they saw nothing about a phone call on their system and that I needed to book for a telephone assessment as my review had passed the initial assessment stage. I'm just very confused, anxious and overthinking the whole situation. I thought from the voicemail that the decision was being made solely on my form and any evidence they had. Have I misinterpreted what the person who left the voicemail meant?
any help to understand this would be greatly appreciated.
thank you and take care. x

Sometimes if they are considering a paper based assessment then they may ring to ask some questions. Once this is done if they haven't got enough of information then you'll need an actual assessment which will be either by phone, video or face to face.Unfortunately, we can only guess what may happen. If they don't ring again soon then ask your carer to ring them again. Can i just check that it was Capita that your carer rang and not PIP itself?0

Thank you so much for replying, it's very much appreciated.
yes it was capita that they rang and the person on the phone stated that I had to book a telephone assessment but didn't say why the person had rang me the day before looking to ask me a few questions, stated they didn't know anyone of that name in the department.
I'm just so confused why someone said they needed to ask me a few questions but never rang back and now they are saying I need a telephone appt without asking me anything first.0 -
All i can advise really is to ring Capita again tomorrow.
