They can but it's very rare.

When I had my Tribunal it was very very stressful to the point i had an attack during it, they are all very understanding and compassionate as they are usually specialist in your conditions and are fully aware of the system makes you jump through hoops.

Just go, be yourself and tell them your story, trust me they want to hear it :)

Hi, I had my tribunal on 16th August via video link. It is daunting but the panel were really nice and put me at my ease. There were 3 people, a judge, doctor and disability specialist. The judge didn’t ask any questions but the other 2 people did. They were very understanding and had excellent knowledge of my case. They asked about the reasons I was appealing and just a little bit in general about my condition. They gave me a 12 month time period they were going to ask me questions about which started 3 months before I applied as you have to have had the condition for at least 3 months prior to applying.
My appointment was at 3.15, however due to the previous case over running it didn’t start until 3.40. It was all over and decision made by 4.25. I went from 5pts daily living to 11pts. 0 points for Mobility to 12 pts. Good luck 😊

All you can do is answer their questions as honestly as you can. They seem to have researched my conditions so understood what I was having difficulties with. They also understand you will be anxious and allow for that. I’ll keep everything crossed for you that it goes well x
