So I have found these forums very helpful during my PIP ordeal, and it has very much been an ordeal. Anyway I have put here my own personal timeline of events as well as I can remember them or find in documents and will update as it goes on:

18/08/2022 - PIP application submitted online
27/09/2022 - PIP assessment over the phone.
10/10/2022 - Refusal received in the post.
17/11/2022 - Mandatory Reconsideration, confirmation DWP have received my MR.
27/04/2023 - Appeal, confirmation DWP have received my appeal request.
10/08/2023 - PIP hearing in person at court. Decision confirmed on the day I am to be awarded standard daily living for descriptors 4(c), 9(c) and 10(b).
16/08/2023 - letter from HMCTS confirming their decision.
26/08/2023 (yes that's a Saturday) - Phone call from DWP asking if I have been abroad for more than 4 weeks, in hospital overnight or in prison since applying. Confirmed I have not, and they said the amount owed since applying will be in my account in 5-7 business days. Also said I will be getting a letter with the regular payment date.
31/08/2023 - received letter in posted backdated to 05/12/2022 telling me I will be receiving the £10 Xmas bonus. I'm hoping this means the £150 CoL payment has been logged in the system as well so I'm not chasing it up just yet.
01/09/2023 - backpay, CoL payment and Xmas bonus all paid in

This is my own timeline and everyone's will be different but this might help some understand that long waits are sadly the norm.
I do not have notifications on so please bare with if I do not get back in touch with you quickly.
