I have suffered from poor speech for over 30 years - when I had a head injury
I can't actually form the words that I am trying to impart....its extremely frustrating....
I am medically retired from work (I was a civil servant for 30 years followed by a IT engineer for the local authority 10 years)
I wonder whether there are others out there in a similar position
It's my 60th birthday today.........

Hi @Wibbles, I'm not in your position but wanted to reply and wish you a very happy birthday. Do you have anything planned to mark the day?0

Happy Birthday!
I've had very limited speech for the past couple of years, but that's mostly due to throat and digestive issues.
Prior to that I was always shy & quiet (and likely on the autism spectrum) so it's been impossible to get this understood as a separate issue.
