Hi @Marius41, welcome to Scope community! I'm not hugely knowledgeable about reassessments just yet. I will direct you to our advice pages but they are mostly about helping with the assessments themselves. Work Capability Assessment | Disability charity Scope UK
What I can do is I will move this into the UC forum, where people who have very good knowledge of the benefits system will be able to see it more easily.1 -
Hi @Marius41 - & welcome to the community. Your UC with the LCWRA element will continue until you're reassessed as it's an ongoing award. As there are backlogs, a reassessment is unlikely to happen soon. That's why there's no date in your letter. I'm sorry the job centre incorrectly 'advised' you.

Thank you for your help.So this means it can be one year from now until I will reassed or 3 months...also can you please tell me what the reassement look like?i need to fill a form and that s it or will it be over the phone?0

It won't be until the end of this year at the earliest, & with all the backlogs this will still delay things.You can see the UC50 form here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/985609/uc50-interactive.pdf If you need an assessment, they're mostly done by phone or video; some people may need a face to face assessment.

At the moment they are suspended again until at least the end of the year. When they start back up fully there will be backlogs.You will know when it's time for a review if you have access to a journal because you'll receive a letter on there telling you they are referring you. Shortly after that you'll receive the UC50 form in the post. The process for reviews is the same as all other work capability assessments.1

You can also have a paper-based assessment, these are rare and if you do have one it means they have enough information to assess you without seeing you. Worth the mention but as I say these are rare and you should expect and prepare for a normal assessment.1 -
Hi @Marius41, bg844 already answered many of your queries but I also wanted to signpost you towards this advice page that Scope has on the WCA. It covers the assessments for ESA and UC (LCWRA).
Good luck with the assessment when it finally comes around and let us know how you get on0 -
I will.Thank you for your advice!0

@stay_positive
its already been said in this thread that assessments are likely delayed until end of year.
not all letters give a time scale on reassessment it’s an ongoing award until they notify you that you need a reassessment,my decision letter didn’t mention dates either but it say we might ask you to be reassessed in the future.1 -
