    Hello @Liamcar1985

Welcome to the community! :) Congratulations on being approved for an accessible bathroom! Did you haver an occupational therapist assess you? Would you be able to talk to them for support in getting a walk in bath?

I agree with Hannah_Scope, an OT will have assessed you, so that's the best person to start with. The wait is long, so you should have plenty of time to get things sorted.

@JessieJ the work is due to commence in 3 months everythings been approved the OT said a walkin bath would be best but Mcr dont supply them, theres companys based in Mcr that supply and fit so could i take the approved grant and use it else where or does it have to be the council who fit the bathroom?

@Hannah_Scope I have tried to speak with them calls are never returned the OT was fantastic its the receptionist who is very arrogant and refuses to pass messages etc on I have even wrote a letter but presuming she gets to control the mail aswell

@Liamcar1985 I'm sorry you are hitting a wall with the receptionist. Is there someone who could hand deliver a letter for you? The only other option I can think of is to call and speak to the receptionists manager about their block in your communication with the OT.

That's awful @Liamcar1985 If you can go in or if someone can on your behalf that may be the best option.

Sorry, I don't know if you can choose to get the work done by other than their usual people. I have the grant coming from the council, but according to my OT, it won't be done by the council but by contractors.

It's a right pain that you seem to be blocked from contacting your OT, as that's the person you need to talk to. I'm lucky to have both mobile phone number & direct email address for mine. It seems you will need to go in with somebody, as suggested, the seemingly only way for you to breach the wall. Good luck!
