ADP is a weekly benefit paid every 4 weeks. Everyone's payment dates will be different each month but the day will remain the same each time (Mon to Fri) no payments are made on weekends.

If successfully awards the decision letter will tell you what day of the week to expect your payments. Once you receive one payment, you then count 4 weeks going forward and that will be when you'll receive your next payment.

There will be 1 month in a year when you'll receive 2 payments.

Thank you both for the information. Is there anyone on here who have received ADP recently? What are the waiting times? Its been almost 7 months for me. Ive spoke to a live chat agent several times and they said its in the final stages and they dont require anymore supporting documents.

I dont know if thats a good sign or a bad sign

There's been very few threads here for ADP. The few that have posted the backlogs are quite long and some have waited 8+ months for a decision.

It's to be expected with a new benefit roll out. I remember when PIP was introduced in April 2013, i waited 10 months for a decision. Backlogs were about a year back then.

Hello. I know there has been very little feedback about adult disability payment scotland on here.  Just thought id update here so you all have something to maybe feedback to others in the future.

I applied on 7 months ago today and today via Live Chat i was told ive been awarded it. They told me they couldn't say more than that but a letter has been sent out and money should be in my account on or before Monday.

I provided so much supporting evidence so i dread to think how long others wait if they didnt provide it.

I just wanted to give an update in the hope it might help others regarding time lines and so on.

Thank you for updating us.  You are right that we don't hear much about ADP or outcomes, so I really appreciate you coming back to tell us how it went. Congratulations on getting your award!
