Good luck @jamieleehill92, keep us updated. I know it can be stressful. Scope does have an advice section on tribunals if you feel like it would be helpful to read Appealing a DWP decision | Disability charity Scope UK

@Jimm_Scope awh thank u ill certainly keep you all updated I'm hoping for enhanced motability but I'm only on 4 points for that so I doubt it but I only had limited evidence then and now I have more so hopefully that helps with the case I suffer with severe osteoarthritis and joint effusion In my right foot and yes I'm only 30 years old 😅  I keep getting told I'm a bit young for it I also suffer with mental health problems like anxiety and depression and back pain

Oh don't worry. I'm also 30, while I don't deal with chronic back pain I did sleep funny the other week and my back still aches at the end of the day. I can't imagine what it's like with it chronic.

The mental health stuff I've certainly gone through, good luck with it all :)

@Jimm_Scope ah thanks 😊 and yeah the pain is unreal they haven't even give me pain medication so that don't help they even gave me the wrong steroid injection in the wrong area of my foot wich sucks. But hopefully will pay off in the end. Good luck to u aswell

So they have finally changed my hearing to a telephone hearing today online. Not sure why it took so long for them to update it though. Just a waiting game now for a hearing

I remember @jamieleehill92 when I was writhing in a hospital bed in pain. It was still a time in my life I tried to hide pain and problems but after 2 nights of no sleep from the pain I finally gave in and asked for painkillers... But because I had not asked for any painkillers they started me on the weakest and it took a while to convince them to bump it up to stronger ones. Of course, they try to be careful with the addictive ones for a reason.

Good luck with your tribunal, here's the Citizen's Advice page about how it usually goes (it assumes in-person so just change "what you need to bring to court" to things like "what you need to hand on the call").

@Jimm_Scope I find it difficult taking tablets because I panic taking them due to worrying about chocking so I try to ask for liquid medicine as even disobable tablets make me gip and be sick because I struggle with textures aswell. But many medicines don't come in liquid form. But thanks for the advice and help :)

Hi just an update I've just received my actual bundle from the dwp or tribunal and omg I've never seen so much paper the size of the bundle is really thick. It came ripped though so that's probably why it took so long to get to me. So I'm guessing the other paperwork was just actually the dwp response as it wasn't so big. In this bundle though It has all the evidence from when u first tried to claim pip back in June 2022 that's probably why the bundle is so thick to. So if I was to win this tribunal would I get backdated from 2022 or would I be backdated from this year when I appealed

It'll get backdated to the most recent date you phoned PIP to claim, a bundle includes everything PIP holds on you and that can include previous evidence that you wasn't expecting.
