LCWRA timeframe help.

in Universal Credit (UC)
Good morning to you all. I was told by my WC to apply for LCWRA due to my PTSD limiting me from going outdoors. I sent my 1st fit note in to UC 16th June to the 16th July.
2nd was for 14th July to the 13th October (went to see my GP for this fit note and she extended the fit note for 3 months) 
I then received the LCWRA form in the post on 2nd of August and completed it and sent it back on the 3rd of August. 
I've not heard anything back from them regarding any request of further information or date for assessment ect. 
Can anyone shed any light on when I can expect to hear back from them and what should be my next steps.

    Can take many weeks to hear back, for me it was around 7 weeks from the date I sent the form back until I get notification of an assessment but it does vary

    Thanks for your help. I was wondering if it depended on areas or backlogs ect but if people comment with how long it took them it's a rough timeframe. It's the same with all benefits, waiting for any updates.

    Hey @MarkH75, there is unfortunately quite a backlog in many locations. So it can take some time, if there's any questions or something you're unsure about just let us know :)

    Good afternoon to you. I'm not going to hold you to anything but have you a rough timeframe in mind. So I know what to expect roughly. Again I'm not going to hold you accountable if longer or shorter 👍

    I'm afraid I don't have access to that kind of information, I took a look at the DWPs statistics for WCAs but their statistics are more regarding outcomes than timescales. It also does depend by region as well, you would be better trying to contact Universal Credit yourself. Though I am unsure if that is information they would be willing to give out.

    I know this really leaves you in an unknown position, and I'm sorry about that. It would be easier on everyone if we knew what the backlog was, but of course the government doesn't like making it clear when things aren't working as they should.

    Fully understand your stance and the information is helpful. Many different people have said many different timelines. Ranging from 6 weeks to 12 weeks from returning the form to getting an assessment. But it's a waiting game .

    I think when you first claim UC it is meant to be a three-month time frame to determine what group you go in, I might be wrong, but I am sure I kept getting told it was a three-month time frame (90 days). However, mine took forever. I applied for UC in November 2021 and didn't get an assessment until August 2022.  There was a complaint put in regarding the long wait, as I still had to talk to UC with a work coach for months, which didn't aid my recovery. I too suffer from Complex PTSD and can't go out, if I do I get terrible panic attacks, so I know how you must feel and I am sure the waiting game cant be good for your anxiety.
