My Mate told me it was Rosh Hashanah so I'm wishing everyone who celebrates Happy New Year/Shana Tovah/ שנה טובה

    I am very appreciative of this reminder, I'm not the best at remembering dates at all. My partner celebrates this so I have 5 days to plan something! 

    We usually do a festive meal, which for Rosh Hashanah means a lot of sweet stuff! We don't do the fish/pomegranates shown in the link but we do have apples and honey. Often as they are but I also will sometimes bake an apple pie or crumble. Maybe this year I'll try a honey cake?

    Hopefully I can find some challah somewhere, who knew bread dipped in honey was so tasty.
