Nice one @carlys7 I also had mine this morning and within 30 minutes found out I got standard daily living and enhanced mobility!! It’s such a good feeling now isn’t it! No more stress and worry 😅 congratulations 🎉

It really does feel like a massive weight off my shoulders and a real win. When you know you’re entitled to something and had to fight for so long. Huge congratulations 🥳

16 months from my application to tribunal. Won standard on both, which I am happy about. Annoying aspects are the wait and the total lies that were written up after my assessment initially, and now a further wait for any payment, which I believe can be a further 2 months !

@MickH congratulations on your award! Yes it’s a lengthy process! My tribunal hearing was just under a year 16 months all together! I had the same thing most of it was copied and pasted and made no sense at all! Luckily I had the chance to have a solicitor and without him I honestly don’t think I got the result I got as I struggled to get some points across. Yes the wait is rather long for payment. My cousin had a tribunal last year and got his back pay within a week! Which was crazy! As I have never known it to be that quick. Hopefully we will be put to rest soon once our payments are sorted out. But I’m at least expecting a good 4-5 weeks. Don’t know if it comes down to your region again or not

I had the DWP phone call yesterday afternoon; " have you been abroad, have you been in care, have you been in Hospital or prison sine your claim?" I can understand part of the reasoning, but to be in Hospital, when presumably you still need to pay your rent or mortgage seems unfair ?

How soon did you receive this call after tribunal? I’m still waiting

Hi @carlys7 - hopefully not too long from what you've said. I said up to 8 weeks before, as the DWP have a month to challenge the Tribunal's decision the same as you (tho they rarely do unless they can find an error in law too). The DWP then have to put the monies into payment for you, & you've gone through the checks it seems (PIP can stop in certain circumstances depending on the number of days you might have been in hospital, abroad or prison). So, keep an eye on your bank account as some get a payment quite quickly. Hope you let us all know.

Hi all just an update I’ve had my back pay so 2 weeks after tribunal date which is brilliant 😀 just checking tho they have paid me back pay for 41 weeks which is from the date my claim started and works out to the date of my actual tribunal. So my question now is when will the 4 weeks start from for my first payment? I take it it will be from the date of my tribunal? So will be in 2 weeks? Hope that makes sense 😀

@Floydiee1995 I got a win.  What a wait that was....71 long weeks and tribunal last Thursday and letter arrived today.
It's a system that's designed to break you. Let's see how long it takes for back payment.

The decision letter will tell you when to expect your future payments. Do be aware that the money that was owed will be a mixture of rates for 2021/22 and 2023.

After winning my Tribunal. I waited less than 2 weeks for DWP to contact me, and about 3 days after back payment was in my Bank before the awarding letter, which arrived a couple of days after the payment
