    If a paying parent is awarded lcwra does child maintenance take that into account for the payment?

    Hello @Blitzgreen. It's my understanding that they only use taxable income when calculating child maintenance payments. Those only receiving income-related benefits usually are charged a flat rate.
    You can calculate whether your child maintenance will change on the Gov Child Maintenance calculator site. Play close attention to whether it asks you about income as to whether it wants taxable income or not.
