DWP not responding to tribunal.

Hello, after a mandatory reconsideration I went to tribunal nearly 2 months ago, on the status page it said that DWP has until 1st sept 2023 to respond, there is still no change over 2 weeks later. I have tried emailing and attempted to call but that’s something I really struggle with and couldn’t go through and once it said there was an hour wait time. I’m not sure what to do now, I have submitted medical evidence etc and done all I’m supposed to but it seems like I have been forgotten. 
Any advice is appreciated.

    Hi @Hope132,  I'm really sorry you're having such a hard time with all of this.  I know how incredibly frustrating it all is, especially when you're not great with phones.   

    Do you have anyone who would be able to phone on your behalf if you were in the room with them?

    When DWP don't respond in the timeframe given, HMCTS will give them an automatic repeat extension. Your appeal will continue and you are still in the queue, it's not that rare for DWP not to respond by a given time.

    Phoning HMCTS won't help in this case as the advice you will be given is as above.
