I got a text message on Friday morning saying that I have been awarded pip and will receive my decision letter within 2 weeks. Will I be paid before I receive the letter?

In normal times, you do receive a payment before a letter. Judging on the text message being sent on Friday morning, you should expect a payment by Wednesday this week. You can of course phone the PIP helpline now and ask for details of what has been awarded but it's always best to wait for the letter.
Great news and if you have any further questions, please do ask.1 -
Welcome to the scope community @E220122! So happy to hear you got awarded PIP
Always nice to see good outcomes, hopefully you got what you are fully entitled to.
I imagine it must be a relief after the assessment? It's not a nice process.1 -
Jimm_Scope yes it’s definitely a relief, the whole process had my anxiety through the roof but the lady I had my assessment with was lovely so that was very helpful 😊
