Hi all,
Today I received a text saying "a health professional is looking at your PIP claim. They will contact you with an appointment if they need to. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change."
Is this just a standard text they send, or does it mean I will receive an appointment soon?
Thank you.

It's a standard text. Some members are still waiting several months after this.

I just realised from a previous thread that this is a new claim. I assumed it was a review of an existing claim. This means that for you then you could hear from them quicker than several months. New claims are taking considerably less time than reviews.
