  Hi @dean1971 - & welcome to the community from me also. All the info you need is here: https://www.entitledto.co.uk/help/caring-overview-universal-credit   this is worth £185.86 a month.

  You'll need to report this on your journal under 'change of circumstances' that you're now caring for someone (if they're eligible).

  If the person you're caring for receives the Severe Disability Premium (SDP), then you won't be able to get the carers element with your UC.
