Hello there ?

My name is Kian 


I made my first pip claim on 7th June 2023

I had my assesment on 12th September 2023

I received a message from DWP sayin they received written report on the same day after my assesment 

It’s been 14 days since the assesment and I’m getting anxious as I’m seeing a lot of people normally get the haven’t made a decision text around this time 

when Should I be expecting a decision/ can I call and check progress ?

    Decisions can take anything up to 12 weeks after the report was returned. Yes, some people have a decision within a couple of weeks,  some wait several and others wait much longer.

    Some wait several weeks for the "we haven't made a decision text." Not receiving that text yet is no indication of anything at all.

    You can ring for an update but you maybe waiting quite sometime for them to answer the phone.

    Okay thankyou

    i rang up this morning and they said a decision had been made And sent out as of 26th September.

    I am going to call back shortly and ask for a copy of my report 

    i hope that because I haven’t received any text since the “we have received your written report” it’s not negative

    That's not an indication that you haven't been awarded. Not everyone receives the texts. If a decision was made yesterday then they should have been able to tell you what that decision was, though it can take up to 24 hours for them to be able to see what that decision was.
