What advice do you want? You'll need to give some information for someone to be able to advise you.

Hello @Margaret67 and welcome, how are you today.

We can certainly help, what is it you were looking to find out about the Adult Disability Payment?

Can I ask if you're based in England? That will help us give you the best advice we can :)

ADP is a Scottish benefit to replace PIP.

Has anyone else found that their ADP application has taken well over the suggested 8 to 10 weeks? Also has anyone experienced request for ino from docs to go "missing"

There's been very few threads regarding ADP. Like all benefits, timescales are only ever a guide.

It's definitely taking more than the 8-10 weeks advised. I waited over 8 months for my initial decision. I was a couple of months after that for my re-determination decision and now I am in the appeals process.

I didn't have Doctors info go missing but I do know that GP and Consultant responses weren't received until at least 4 months after I initially applied. I don't know if that is an indicator of how long it took the case worker to send the questions or how long it took the Docs to reply.

Have you contacted SSS to ask how the process is going?
