How if you're affected as a adult how do you deal with it and to what severity

    Hi Benjy, you don't give us much information. As I am sure you know, Hemiplegia means that one side of your body is affected usually as a result of some type of neurological damage to the right side of the brain if you have left sided hemiplegia. You say you are affected as an adult so is this an acquired disability - maybe as a result of an accident? How are you affected and how severe are the effects? There is a charity called HemiHelp which may be able to give you more information - just depends on what support you feel you need and what questions you have.

    Hi rocky it is something I have for all of my life but never really questioned it but as I have gotten older it has started to affect me more with my motor rememremembering things like numeracy and so on plus weaknesses and aches n pains and had a mri scan which found three blocked veins upstairs.
