Hi - does anyone play games on PS4 or Xbox?
Ive got an old PS4 and I'm looking for a game to pass the time while I'm recovering from surgery. A friend has mentioned No Man's Sky or Skyrim but not sure if they are any good. 
Any game suggestions?

I enjoy Call of duty and adventure games.

    I used to like the Call of Duty Zombies when I had an XBOX

    If you like Call of Duty then Medal of Honour is a good shout. It is similar to Call of Duty but you are less of a one man band hero and more part of a team.

    I have a big birthday coming up next year and keep getting asked what I want. I've always had PlayStation's but not sure weather Xbox S/X or PS5 is the way to go.

    I've always had XBOXs (well, had 2) but I heard the PlayStation controller is better, that's surely subjective though, it just depends on personal preference I think!

    Heya @andrewkuk! I hope recovery is going well?

     I'm a big PlayStation fan!  I loved Skyrim, you can really get lost in the game and don't have to focus too much on the main storyline.  I think I've sunk about 400+ hours into it over the years. 

    If you can upgrade to a PS5, it's well worth it.  I much prefer it over the XBOX series. 

    Other games I've been loving recently;
    Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West (hunting robot dinosaurs and lots of exploration.)
    Baldurs gate 3 (Ps5 game, huge RPG and my game of the year!)
    Spiderman (open world, webslinging goodness!)
    Cyberpunk 2077 (RPG/Shooter. Recently had a huge update, so plays really well.)
    God of War (open world game hack'n'slash, battling against various gods)

    Hi - Thank for your reply. I've always had PlayStation but my brother gets on really well with his Xbox S and the game pass seems to be better than the PSN plus essential subscription.
    i don't currently have PSN plus as I don't have the spare money but hopefully I will soon as you need it for any online game.
    the new Call of Duty MW3 beta is pretty good and strangely doesn't need PSN plus.

    Happy to help!

    I have xbox gamepass for my PC, it seems to be great value for money.  But I did have PSN plus ultimate for a while, having access to all those games was great.   But it really does depend on how much you are willing to spend versus how much time you get to play the games.

    I have the Series X and PS5, Lately I have been playing a lot of Final Fantasy 16 on the PS5 it’s a great game if you like story driven action RPGs.
    On Xbox I’ve been playing Lost Odyssey(thankfully Series X plays 360 games)

    Usually this would be the case but the current generation controllers are very different, The PS5 has far superior features(Immersive Haptic Feedback, Adaptive Triggers etc) so features wise the PS5 is far superior but the Xbox controller is super comfortable to use, Xbox rarely add new features to their controllers but it’s a solid design that just works as intended

    Just got to start saving for a new console and hopefully with my Birthday money next year I'll get a new console. Maybe the prices might start to fall by then 🤞

    I did enjoy The Last Of Us.  I'm attempting to play TLOU pt 2 remastered now. :)

    Hi - Is anyone going to be playing the new Call Of Duty Black Ops 6?

    The zombie part of the game has gone back to the old style round based game type.
